Christophe M. McLean

Christophe M. McLean was appointed Vice President & Chief Financial Officer – Hecla Canada effective April 1, 2021. He was Controller – Canadian Operations from June 2013 to March 2021. Prior to joining Hecla, Mr. McLean was Corporate Controller at Aurizon Mines Ltd. from September 2006 to May 2013, where he oversaw financial reporting and internal controls for the Casa Berardi Mine and various other exploration properties. Mr. McLean has over 15 years’ experience in the mining industry working with finance and operations teams. Prior to entering the mining industry, Mr. McLean was an Accounting Manager with various retail and wholesale entities for over eight years. Mr. McLean earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Laval University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada). He is currently based in the province of Quebec and works out of Hecla’s regional office in Val-d’Or.
