Data & Reporting

Hecla voluntarily engages with a variety of organizations and frameworks at a global and national level to ensure that we are disclosing performance data and adhering to the highest standards of ESG policies and performance.

Global Reporting Institute and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board

Hecla prepared the Sustainability Report with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards for the second year. For the fifth year, we benchmarked our performance against the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Metals and Mining standards.

Our metrics can be found in our 2022 Data Tables and GRI, SASB, and TCFD Content Index.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Hecla recognizes that each United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) is important, and we indirectly contribute in some way to the majority of them. We have prioritized the SDGs that align most directly with our business, corporate strategy, sustainability efforts, and stakeholder expectations, while also representing our greatest opportunities to contribute further to the goals.
