Greens Creek Employees Help Clean Up Local Community

The Hecla team is all about keeping the country green and clean. In addition to achieving a net-zero carbon emission status within our company, employees from our Greens Creek mine helped remove more than 14,000 pounds of trash in Juneau’s national clean-up day. We also “adopted” a stretch of highway in Juneau that we have pledged to clean up three times a year to ensure a clean environment for generations to come.
