Hecla Greens Creek unveiled a new video highlighting its work and impact in Alaska. Greens Creek is the largest producing silver mine in the U.S. and Canada, the largest private-sector employer in Southeast Alaska, and the leading taxpayer in the municipality. Beyond its operations, Greens Creek is a strong community partner, annually purchasing tens of millions of dollars in goods and services from area businesses.
Greens Creek is one of only two mines in the U.S. allowed to operate inside a federally protected national monument, and the video underscores the team’s dedication to environmental stewardship and responsible operations.
It also showcases the advanced technologies used at the site, along with the dedicated workforce behind the operation, and their commitment to safety and operational excellence.
