Hecla Yukon Hosts Traditional Steak Dinner for the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun’s Annual General Assembly Members

Hecla Yukon was honored to provide a community steak dinner for First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun (FNNND) members gathered for the annual General Assembly.
When the FNNND events coordinator reached out just a few weeks before the annual General Assembly, the Hecla Yukon team jumped into action. Partnering with Summit Camps to source steaks for members from Mayo and Whitehorse, the team also secured custom aprons for volunteer chefs and rallied four Hecla team members to prepare and serve the meal.
A special thank you goes to the volunteer chefs and everyone behind the scenes who helped plan, prepare, and serve the meal. Their hard work made it possible to continue a meaningful tradition, and Hecla Yukon looks forward to supporting this event for years to come.
