Hecla Charitable Foundation Now Accepting 2026 Grant Applications

Applications for the 2026 Hecla Charitable Foundation grants are now open. Established in 2007, the foundation supports 501(c)(3) nonprofits and registered US and Canadian charities that advance education, health, youth, and community initiatives. Its mission is to enhance quality of life and promote the social, environmental, and economic sustainability of the communities where Hecla operates.
Eligible organizations are encouraged to connect with local Hecla employees to discuss project ideas before submitting an application. The Foundation will accept and review applications for the 2026 grant cycle during the first quarter of the year (January–March).
