Hecla Teams Place at Central Mine Rescue Competition
Hecla mine rescue teams showed their skill and competence at the annual Central Mine Rescue annual competition in Kellogg, Idaho. These competitions are more than just a test—they help our teams prepare for critical skills that are used during real-life mine rescue efforts. Our Lucky Friday team placed in every single event and the Greens Creek team placed in two events. We’re proud of the dedication and extra time each team member puts in year-round. At Hecla, safety takes precedence over production.
