Hecla’s Safety 365: Work Safe, Home Safe Initiative
In 2024, Hecla launched our “Safety 365: Work Safe, Home Safe” initiative, a program that promotes an environment where speaking up about safety concerns is not just encouraged, it’s expected. To launch this initiative, we hosted our first ever company-wide, tools-down safety day, temporarily halting all operations to focus solely on our safety protocols and practices. We always put people first, because ensuring everyone returns home safely isn’t just a goal, it’s a commitment!
