The Hecla Charitable Foundation’s Contributions to Our Local Communities
The Hecla Charitable Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life – and to promote the social, environmental, and economic sustainability and development – of those communities where Hecla has operations and activities. In 2024, the Foundation donated nearly $620,000 to 68 organizations, bringing our total contributions since 2009 to more than $5.4 million. The Foundation focuses on four core areas: education (43%), communities (37%) health (12%) and youth (9%).
